Yoga Classes

A new policy has been put into place to keep class cancellation information consistent among all students.  If Springfield Public Schools are closed,
then yoga classes will be cancelled as well.  If the inclimate weather is on the weekend, please call Shari at 417.343.7597.

Classes missed will be added to the end of each student’s existing package.  Please notify your instructor at your next class.

Meet the Instructors

Shari McCubbins

Shari grew up in Sacramento, California.  Daughter of a yoga instructor, Shari felt like yoga was her mom’s thing, but not hers.  She has been an exercise enthusiast all of her life and through the years has come full circle, discovering that yoga is one of the best fitness programs available.

Shari found yoga to be totally transformative, so she traveled to the Turquoise Tree Yoga Center to become a registered yoga instructor.  Shari has studied with some of yoga’s most recognized teachers across the country influencing her teaching style.  Her calm, nurturing, and flexible style creates an environment where all levels, from beginner to advanced, feel at home and capable of doing the various poses.  She is currently certified with the Yoga Alliance.

Emery Bryant
Emery is a registered yoga instructor through the National Yoga Alliance certified in the VariYoga style.  VariYoga is a blend of the Iyengar, Anusara and Viniyoga traditions.  Her classes include a flowing practice with poses ranging from gentle to vigorous, depending on individual comfort and ability.  In addition, classes will include breathing techniques and a philosophical understanding of yoga.

Dawn Ray

Dawn is a Springfield native who has practiced Yoga locally for over ten years. She has studied many styles of Yoga, her favorite being Hatha Flow, with an Ashtanga influence. Her technique focuses on restoration, deep breathing and slow fluid postures. Her soft, nurturing demeanor is perfect for beginners and advanced practitioners needing to unwind.

Darla Morello
